Play suspended in second round at Tulsa

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - With three holes left in the round, play was suspended on the first day at the Dale McNamara Invitational hosted by Tulsa. The Sam Houston women's golf team currently is tied for fourth at 15-over par.

Jennifer Herbst is tied for second at 3-under for the tournament, one shot back of the lead. She opened the day with a 2-under round of 70, closing the round with three birdies in her last five holes.

Leah Alberto is in a tie for 18^th at 3-over. After shooting a 76 in round 1, she has played a bogey-free round 2 and with three holes remaining.

Zulaikah Nasser is in a tie for 41^st at 7-over, Anna Takahashi is in a tie for 58^th at 11-over and Viera Permata Rosada is tied for 60^th at 12-over. Audrey Haddad, who is playing as an individual, is tied for 47^th at 9-over.

The second round will continue Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. before beginning the final round of play.
