Kats post two ranked wins at Music City

The Bearkat bowlers picked up a big win against Vanderbilt and closed the final day of the Music City Classic with a pair of wins to take 7^th place in the 19 team field.

The Bearkats closed the tournament with an 8-5 record and two wins over ranked opponents to finish out the day.

"After a slow start to the day, the girls really bounced back," said head coach Brad Hagen. "We are getting to the final stretch of the season and a win like that against Vandy can really spark something."

The Kats opened the day against Tulane, dropping the match in four games. They then got behind No. 2-ranked Vanderbilt 3-0 before storming back to take the next four games including a 201-194 win in game seven. They then closed the day with a five game win over No. 22 Central Missouri.

Individually, the Kats were led by Elise Chambers who averaged 200 for her five games on Saturday and placed 20^thoverall.
