ABILENE — Sam Houston continued its hot streak at the plate to knock off Abilene Christian 9-4 Saturday at Poly Wells Field.
After combining for 31 hits and 22 runs in a pair of wins Friday, the Bearkats blasted three home runs and three doubles to complete the Southland Conference series sweep of the Wildcats. Sam Houston now stands 8-7 in league play and 11-21 overall.
ACU (7-27, 3-12 SLC) jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning, but the Kats took control of the game in the third.

Kutac went 6 for 13 in the series with 10 RBIs, a home run and two doubles.
