Alberto to play in final at Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The goal going into her second Augusta National Women's Amateur was to make the cut and play a competitive round at Augusta. On Saturday, Hanna Alberto will do just that after shooting 6-over through her first two rounds to finish the day tied for 21^st.

Alberto started the morning with the conclusion of round 1 after play was suspended on Wednesday. After playing the first 13 holes at even-par, she closed the round with three bogeys for a first round 75.

In round 2 on Thursday, she got off to a rough start. Following a double-bogey on No. 9, she made the turn at 4-over and 7-over for the tournament. Bogeys followed on Nos. 10 and 11 and Alberto found herself on the outside of cut line of the top 30 to play in Saturday's final round.

She turned things around on No. 13. On the 425-yard par 4, Alberto holed out for an eagle. She then followed that with a birdie on the par 5, 14^th hole. She then closed her round with four straight pars to make the cut by one shot.

She finished her round with a 75 and sits 7-shots back of the lead.

Friday Alberto will play a practice round at Augusta National, which will host the Masters next week. Saturday, the field, which now stands at 30, will play the final round at Augusta National. She will be in the first group to tee off at 7 a.m.
