HUNTSVILLE — There is still plenty on the line as Sam Houston hosts UTEP in the regular season finale on Saturday at Pritchett Field.
The Bearkats are 3-3-1 in Conference USA play and could move up in the seeding having already clinched a spot in the league's postseason tournament which will be held in Ruston, Louisiana on Nov. 1-5. Sam Houston is fifth in the standings, two points behind FIU and three points behind Liberty.
Four CUSA schools rank in the top 45 nationally in shot accuracy, led by the Bearkats at 13th (.562). FIU (.534) comes in at 26th, followed by Jax State (.525) at 34th. LA Tech (.519) ranks 43rd in that category.
Kickoff is scheduled for 12:45 p.m.
