WACO — Sam Houston picked up a top-25 win and came close to another at the Baylor Tournament on Saturday.

Sam Houston will face the Aggies Sunday at 10 a.m. and wrap up the tournament against Baylor at 12:30 p.m.

Kylie Hobbs drew a walk to begin the fifth and pinch runner Chandler Talbot beat out a throw to second to allow Hannah Scheaffer to reach on a fielder's choice. Haleigh Carter reached on a similar play and all the runners advanced on a error.
