BRYAN — The Sam Houston men's golf team tied for sixth at the Aggie Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at the Traditions Golf Club.
The Bearkats shot rounds of 289-292-290 for 7-over 871 on the par-72, 7,227-yard course. Louisville won the championship with a 12-under 852 followed by Texas A&M, LSU, TCU and Baylor.
Kristoffer Max, Bret Gray and Samual McKenzie tied for 25th in the individual standings at 2-over 218. Max shot 73-73-72, Gray shot 73-71-74 and McKenzie shot 71-74-73.
Jack Randle tied for 30th with rounds of 72-74-73 for 3-over 219. Josh German tied for 46th with rounds of 73-77-72 for 6-over 222.
Daniel Moon tied for 63rd at 13-over 229 with rounds of 75-76-78.
