Gray named men's Golfer of the Week

 ARLINGTON — Bret Gray has been named the Western Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday.
Gray helped lead the Bearkats to the team championship at the Huntsville Toyota Bearkat Invitational held at Walden on Lake Conroe Monday and Tuesday. Sam Houston won by 26 strokes after shooting rounds of 274-291-277 for a 22-under 842 on the par-72, 6,756-yard course.Â

Gray shot rounds of 70-72-66 for 8-under 208 to place second in the individual competition.
This is the second weekly honor for Gray this spring. He won back in February after he captured the individual title at the Bayou City Classic.
