Each game of the weekend will be aired on ESPN+ and can be followed on Statbroadcast.

SERIES NOTES vs FIU
- The weekend will mark the first-ever meeting on the diamond between Sam Houston and FIU.

- FIU is the final of 6 first-time opponents for the Kats this season. Others include Dartmouth, Liberty, New Mexico, WKU and Middle Tennessee. The Kats are 9-5 this season against first-time opponents entering the weekend.

BEARKAT QUICK HITTERS
- Sam Houston will be looking for its fourth weekend series win on the road this season, and first in CUSA play since opening by winning 2 of 3 at NM State. The Kats also have road series wins at Texas State and New Mexico in 2024.

- Sam Houston enters the weekend with a magic number of four to secure a spot in the Conference USA Tournament.

- Sam Houston is heading to the Sunshine State for the first time since 2019 when they opened the season at the Rycass Classic, hosted by Stetson in DeLand. That weekend the Kats scored wins over Manhattan and Stetson before falling to Virginia Tech.

- Jeffrey David enters Tuesday with a team-best, 19-game hitting streak and has reached in 22 games overall. It is the second-longest hit streak by a Kat this year, only behind the 23-gamer put together by Walker Janek to open the season.
