JACKSONVILLE, Ala. — Due to the threat of inclement weather in the area, Thursday's Sam Houston soccer match at Jax State has been moved to Friday.
The Bearkats will try to build off its solid start to Conference USA play on the first league road trip of the season when the two teams meet at 1 p.m. The match was originally scheduled for Thursday.
Sam Houston will also make the trip north to tussle with CUSA newcomer Kennesaw State on Sunday at noon in Georgia. This will be the first meeting between them.
The Bearkats come into Friday's contest fresh off a 3-2 upset of NM State on Sept. 19 to open CUSA action. It was the second win in a row for Sam Houston which is 4-3-2 overall this season.
