Kats head into final day of Bearcat Invitational

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Sam Houston men's golf team will head into the final day of the Bearcat Invitational tied for 13th place at +12 after 36 holes of play at Coldstream Country Club.

The Bearkats shot +5 in round one and +7 in round two. Grayson Petru leads the Kats in his first appearance after shooting even in round one and one over in round two. Alex Malanga is just behind him with matching rounds of 72.

Caleb Lumpkin shot 77 in round one but cleaned up in round two, shooting even (71). Jackson Hymer started off hot being just one over in round one and later hit 76 in round two with five birdies on the day. Ethan Dufresne shot 74-80 on his scorecard.

Play for the final round of the Bearcat Invitational is set to begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Live scoring can be followed on Scoreboard by Clippd.
