Made 15 appearances, including seven starts for the Kats as a true sophomore … finished the season 5-3 with 51 strikeouts in 58.1 innings of work … won each of first three starts of the year and made five starts on the weekend … opened season by taking a no-decision despite striking out five in 4.2 innings of relief against Wright State (2/28) … earned start a week later and struck out nine in 6.0 innings to get win over Prairie View (3/6) … needed just 71 pitches to navigate 7.0 innings and earn win at Lamar (3/11) … struck out seven and walked just one in 6.0 scoreless inning to earn win at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (3/18) … earned win in relief against Southeastern Louisiana (5/4), striking out four and allowing just two hits in 2.0 scoreless frames … earned final win of the year with 3.1 scoreless innings of relief, striking out four at UIW, in the game that clinched the SLC title for the Kats.

2017 SEASON
Made eight appearances including one start during inaugural campaign with the Bearkats … struck out eight hitters in 11 1-3 innings alongside a 5.56 ERA … posted strong start against Pepperdine, limiting the Waves to one run (none earned) on four hits in 4 2-3 innings while fanning two in 2-1 win on March 1 … used 21 pitches to fan a season-high three as part of a perfect two frames on Feb. 18 vs. Nevada.

Left-handed pitcher for Rusty Sample's Cypress Creek baseball program … named First-Team All-District … posted 1.86 ERA with 6-5 record as a senior … went 4-5 with a 2.04 ERA as a junior … also hit .303 with seven doubles and one triple as a senior and .287 with five doubles and one triple as a junior … participated in Hunter Pence Baseball Academy as well as Miracles baseball club team … also played football.
