
Men's golf finishs third at ORU Invitational

TULSA -- Scott Kelly fired a final-round 75 to lead the Sam Houston men's golf team to a third-place finish at the Bob Hurley Auto Family ORU Shootout, Tuesday at Golf Club of Oklahoma.
Texas State won the team championship with a 54-hole team score of 902. Missouri State was the team runner-up at 912 and Sam Houston placed third at 920.
Jay McBride of Missouri State won the individual medalist championship with a 75-73-67-215. Kyle Roberts of Stephen F. Austin was the runner-up with a 75-73-74-222. Kelly placed third with with a 77-72-75-224 card.
