Men win Funston Title

The men edged Oklahoma City by three strokes 564 to 567 to take the title after trailing by two strokes after Monday's first round.
Kristjan Einarsson of Nicholls won the individual medalist championship with a nine-under total of 65-68-133. The Bearkats' James Glenn was the individual runner-up with a 67-69-136 score.
Other Sam Houston scores and finishes included Garrett Driver 5th (73-67-140), Blaine Weiterman 13th (73-71-144), Kort O'Leary 18th (74-72-146) and Scott Kelly 26th (72-76-148).
Nicholls finished third in the team competition with a 575 total. Oklahoma Christian was fourth with 577 strokes, followed by Oklahoma Christian 577, Tyler 579, McNeese 580, Houston-Victoria 592, Texas-Pan American 595, Stephen F. Austin 597, Centenary 606, Texas-Brownsville 620 and Texas Southern 632.
