Mens golf 3rd at Texas Wesleyan

The Sam Houston men's golf team placed third out of 15 teams at the UST Mamiya Intercollegiate hosted by Texas Wesleyan University Sunday and Monday.
Oklahoma Christian won the team title with a 13-under total of 563. Abilene Christian was second at 579. Sam Houston finished third with a 583 total followed by Southern Nazarene 593, Our Lady of the Lake 594, Indian Hills 597, Oklahoma City 600, Lubbock Christian 604, Texas Wesleyan 605, Texas-Brownsville 615, Southeastern 616, Texas Wesleyan Gold 624, Rogers State 629, Dodge City 638 and Southwestern 642.
Two Bearkats placed among the top 10 individual medalists with Blaine Weiterman finishing tied for the runner-up spot with a 66-74--140 and Kort O'Leary was eighth with a 76-68--144.
