Blaine Weiterman posted a 54-hole final total of 73-75-71--219 to finish three-over and in sixth place in the individual medalist standings at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock First Tee Classic Monday and Tuesday, March 28-29.
The tournament was played on the par 72, 7,326-yard course at Chanal Country Club in Little Rock.
The Sam Houston men's golf team placed 16th out of the 17-team field, putting together team rounds of 304-303-312 for a 919 total.
The University of Missouri won the team championship with a score of 297-289-296. Jace Long of Missouri won the individual medalist crown with a six-under score of 71-67-72--210.
