MONTGOMERY, Texas - It took a late rally, but the Bearkat men's golfers claimed the title at the Huntsville Toyota Bearkat Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at Walden on Lake Conroe.
The Kats trailed by nine shots to UTRGV and were down six shots as they made the turn at No. 10. On the back nine, the Kats turned it on. As a team they played the final nine holes at 3-under par, leading them to a 4-shot win over UTEP.
