WEST POINT, Miss. — The Sam Houston women finished in sixth place at The Ally hosted by Mississippi State Monday through Wednesday at the Old Waverly Golf Club.

Jennifer Herbst posted a top-5 finish in the individual standings. She turned in rounds of 74, 69 and 69 for a total of 4-under 212 on the par-72, 6,316-yard course to place third.

Jenn David and Amelia Guo tied for 26th at 8-over 224. David had rounds of 75, 72 and 77, and Guo carded rounds of 74, 74 and 76. Viera Permata Rosada closed with a 71 to finish tied for 49th at 15-over 231 following rounds of 81 and 79.

Zulaikah Nasser also tied for 49th after posting rounds of 80, 75 and 76, while Gracie Heinle tied for 65th with rounds of 81, 81 and 83 for a 29-over 245.

Florida won the tournament at 1-under 863 followed by Mississippi State (863), Indiana (874), Indiana (875), Tulsa (876), LSU (884) and Sam Houston (885).
