HUNTSVILLE — The Sam Houston volleyball team heads to Lynchburg, Virginia, for a two-game series against Liberty at Liberty Arena on Friday and Saturday. 

The Bearkats (13-10, 8-4 CUSA) enter the matchup fresh off a series sweep of Jacksonville State and aim to secure their first win over the Flames after falling short in the 2023 season. 

Currently tied with New Mexico State for third place in the Conference USA standings with an 8-4 conference record, Sam Houston has the chance to claim sole possession of the spot this weekend. 

Both matches will air live on ESPN+ and can be tracked via StatBroadcast.
