MADISON, Wisc. – The Sam Houston women's golf team will go into the Tuesday's final day of the Badger Invitational in ninth place at 21 over after 36 holes of play at University Ridge Golf Course.
 
The Bearkats shot +8 in round one and +13 in round two. Francesca Sumcad leads the Kats tied for 15th after shooting +2 in the first round and later evened out with 72 in the second. Bomyeong Lee shot consistently with a scorecard of 74-74 and four total birdies putting her tied for 25th.
 
Not far behind, Amelia Guo started off hot, shooting 73 (+1) in the first round with a birdie on hole 16 and hit +4 in the second round. Shanna Sandoval shot 75-81. Victoria Renzi shot consistently 79-79 to round out the Kats' scoring.
 
Play for the final round of the Badger Invitational is set to begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday. Live scoring can be followed on Scoreboard by Clippd.
