The Sam Houston bowling squad will kick off the second half of the season when the Bearkats hit the road for New Castle, Delaware this weekend.
The Kats will roll in the Northeast Classic at the Bowlerama Friday through Sunday as the squad eyes a return trip to the NCAA Tournament in 2026.
Sam Houston is hoping to bounce back from the fall campaign. The Bearkats opened the season ranked No. 8 in the country in the National Tenpin Coaches Association poll.
After a solid start, SHSU hit a bump in the road to close out the fall and enter the second half of the season ranked No. 14.
The Bearkats were in contention at the Northeast Classic last season. The event was cut short, but Sam Houston was 8-2 with 10,381 total pins through two days of competition.
