HUNTSVILLE – Sam Houston will look to close out its slate of non-conference weekends on a high note when it hosts Prairie View this weekend for three games at Don Sanders Stadium.
The schedule currently features a pair of games on Friday, beginning at 3:00 p.m. with the nightcap set for no earlier than 6:30 p.m. Likely inclement weather has already altered the weekend schedule with no game on the slate for Saturday while the finale is still scheduled for a noon first pitch on Sunday.

Sam Houston is coming off putting an end to a 4-game losing streak on Tuesday with a 5-2 win over Houston, evening this season's Don Sanders Cup series with the Cougars. The Panthers, meanwhile, put an end to their own 7-game losing streak on Tuesday with a win at home over Huston Tillotson.
