Sunday starter who finished 4-5 with 4.45 ERA as sophomore … held opponents to .248 average in 17 appearances … second on squad with 65 strikeouts in 83 innings of work … registered season-high 10 strikeouts in four-hit complete-game shutout victory against UIW on April 11 … tossed 7 1-3 innings, striking out six and allowing two earned runs in 8-5 series-clinching win at Oklahoma ... in 2014, became Sam Houston's first Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American and first 10-game winner since 2007 ... first Bearkat freshman to log 10 wins and just the fifth SHSU pitcher to win 10 or more games at the Division I level ... went 10-2 with a 2.61 earned run average in 16 appearances ... logged a total of 79 1/3 innings in 11 starts ... struck out 38, while opposing batters managed to hit just .218 off him ... five relief appearances with one save ... last start came in NCAA Regional play against Siena where he tossed 5 2/3 innings and allowed just two runs on six hits while striking out two and picking up the win.
