Final Results

DALLAS — The Sam Houston men's golf team closed out the Trinity Forest Invitational with the squad's best round to finish ninth in the 17-team field on Tuesday.

The Bearkats shot 4-under 284 to finish the three-round tournament at 1-over 865 at the Trinity Forest Golf Club. Little Rock won the event followed by SMU, Baylor, Furman, SMU (B), Houston, UTSA and North Texas.

Bret Gray was Sam Houston's top finisher after shooting 3-under 69 on Tuesday. He tied for 17^th place at 4-under 212 for the tournament.

Gene Chaikangwal tied for 21^st at 2-under 214 following a final round 1-under 71. Ting-Wei Hsieh tied for 39^th at 1-over 217 after shooting a 2-under 70 on Tuesday.

Jack Randle tied for 73 at 9-over 225 with a final round score of 4-over 76. Kristoffer Max shot 2-over 74 for a 14-over 230 to finish tied for 87^th.
