HUNTSVILLE – Sam Houston will look to run its win streak to five in a row on Tuesday when it hits the road for a midweek game at Baylor at Baylor Ballpark.
The game is set for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch and is set to be aired on ESPN+ with Derek Smith and Tom Barfield on the call from the banks of the Brazos River. Tuesday's game can also be followed via Statbroadcast or by following @BearkatsBSB on Instagram and X.
Sam Houston turned in a 4-0 week last week with a midweek victory over Houston and a sweep of Prairie View and goes to Waco carrying a 4-1 mark on the road in 2026. Jakob Holzer will get his second start of the season, having gone 4.0 innings at HCU in the opening midweek of the year.
Baylor comes in at 9-6 overall after a weekend sweep at home of Air Force and 2-1 in midweek games with wins over Texas State and Stephen F. Austin before dropping a 6-5 decision last Tuesday at Tarleton.
