Summary

Biography

Michelle Secours, the native of Up-State NY has already set the bar high for herself and returns back to the Nationally Ranked Bearkats earning her varsity letter in her 2011 debut and looking to leave her final impression as she is the lone senior this year for the Kats.

"Shelly will continue to be an essential asset to this team’s future from the beginning and I believe she’s got all the tools to help get this team where we want to go,” head coach Brad Hagen said. "I am really looking to her this season to step up as the senior, be a positive influence on this team’s future success, and most importantly reach for nothing short of her full potential."

Secours in her 2011-2012 debut with the Nationally Ranked Kats saw plenty of action as she posted several personal best and directly assisted in the Kats second back to back top-10 national ranking come season end.  Secours concluded her junior debut leading the Kats in average @ 196.88 for 40 games and adding officially two-NCAA All-Tournament Team selections to her resume.

The most memorable one was at the Bearkats home tournament, where Secours provided a 2011-2012 NCAA Season high single tournament average of 244.80 for 5 games at the inaugural TRACK Kat Klash that later on assisted the Kats to win its first tournament championships of the 2011-2012 season and end the first half of the season ranked #5 in the Nation.
