Was slated to be 2-way player for the Kats in 2022, but suffered injury and played in just 6 games on the season ... utilized redshirt season ... started season opener at first base vs Nebraska (2/18) and went 1-for-4 with 2 RBI ... finished season with a pair of doubles and 4 RBI at the plate ... threw a scoreless inning of relief with 2 strikeouts against Nebraska (2/20) ... had a double in win over No. 4 Oklahoma State at Globe Life Park before suffering season-ending injury on the mound late in the game

2021 Season
Was the Kats' primary Friday starter throughout the season ... made 14 total appearances, including 13 starts ... threw a team-high 76.2 innings, striking out 53 while only walking 15 ... opened season ranked in preseason as No. 19 MLB prospect in Southland Conference by D1Baseball.com ... won each of his first 2 starts of the season, allowing 1 run on 4 hits in 5.0 innings vs UTSA (2/26) and then striking out 5 without a walk in 6.0 innings of work vs Rice (3/5) at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Classic at Minute Maid Park ... turned in stellar start, despite earning a no-decision in series opener vs Northwestern State (3/19), striking out a career-high 11 hitters in 8.0 innings without a walk against the Demons ... went 8.1 innings for the win at Central Arkansas (4/1) and 7.0 frames for a victory against A&M-Corpus Christi (3/26) ... allowed just 2 runs in 7.0 innings with 8 strikeouts in a series-opening victory vs McNeese (4/17) ... picked up final victory of the season in the final regular-season series of the year at Nicholls (5/21), striking out 3 and allowing just 2 runs in 6.0 innings vs the Colonels

2020 Season
Ranked in preseason by D1Baseball.com as the No. 29 prospect in Southland Conference for 2020 MLB Draft ... picked up the win in each of his first two Bearkat starts ... made Friday start in each of Kats' weekend series ... was outstanding in Bearkat debut, getting the ball on Opening Night vs Saint Mary's (2/14) ... went on to get the win after throwing 5.0 scoreless innings, striking out 4 with just 1 walk and 4 hits allowed on 81 pitches ... was part of third Bearkat shutout on Opening Night since 2003 ... struck out 6 and allowed three runs - two earned - in 6.0 innings in picking up the win over Loyola Marymount (2/21).

Panola College
Went 6-4 in 13 appearances for the Ponies as a sophomore in 2019 ... posted a 3.21 ERA in 67.1 IP with 74 strikeouts and 21 walks ... averaged 9.89 strikeouts per nine innings ... also hit .317 in 60 at-bats with a homer and 13 RBI at the plate.

Wichita State
Was a big piece of the Shockers' 2018 pitching staff, making six starts and 21 total appearances ... posted a 2-1 record and 3.66 ERA ... tossed 51.2 innings as a true freshman, striking out 46 hitters with just a dozen walks ... picked up first career win with 5.0 shutout innings against Kansas, striking out 8 and allowing just 2 hits in the game ... delivered 6.0 strong innings against Cincinnati, punching out five without allowing a walk or an earned run for his second win of the year.

Attended Oak Ridge High School in Conroe, Texas…Lettered two years in baseball…Named first team all-greater Houston…Two-time first team all-district selection…6A all-Houston utility player…District MVP…Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All-Star…17-5 record and 1.36 ERA in two varsity seasons...As a junior, went 8-2 with a 1.43 ERA and 64 strikeouts…Also hit .353 with five home runs and 25 RBI and was named The Courier Player of the Year.
